Reporting Initiatives – General Information

The desire for public accountability is as strong as it has ever been. Throughout the nation there are many initiatives underway to assess and report SEA performance information of governments to the public. These initiatives vary greatly in such aspects as scope, methodology, limitations, performance measures used, frequency, and detail.

The initiatives listed on the following pages are organized by levels and types of government and include only some of the initiatives that currently exist.
